STMPD Studios
In Amsterdam stands STMPD Studios, a visionary audio hub conceived by Martin Garrix. What began as the acquisition of the old FC Walvisch studio in 2016 turned into an ambitious transformation over the following years. By mid-2020, the complex had been redefined as “Amsterdam’s most advanced recording studio” and regarded as one of the world’s most lavish music facilities.
More than just a music studio, STMPD Studios also functions as a full-fledged audio post-production center, servicing film, episodic TV, VR/AR, and advertising. Its offerings include mixing, sound design, foley, ADR, voice-over recording, and custom music production . Notably, despite its shared branding, STMPD Studios operates independently from STMPD RCRDS, inviting artists from all backgrounds and labels to utilize its resources
The upgraded facility now features eight top-tier studios, ranging from A-class recording rooms to a rare Dolby Atmos Premier mix stage (one of only nine globally) . The studio is not just technically superior; its atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and welcoming to creators. Hybrid in nature, it blends top modern digital systems with classic analog gear and even houses a fine collection of instruments and backline equipment. Supportive engineers and an inviting, home-like environment make it ideal for musicians, producers, and post-production professionals alike.
