Martin Garrix

HOME

feat. Bonn

During his Tomorrowland 2019 set, Martin Garrix premiered a brand-new track titled “Take Me Home.” The song would later be officially renamed “Home.”

One month later, at Sziget Festival, “Home” opened the ANIMA show, instantly setting the tone for the emotional journey that followed. The official release came on August 16, 2019, just one day after Martin announced the date.

“Home” marks the third collaboration between Martin Garrix and Bonn. The two wrote the track in June 2019 while Martin was recovering from his ankle injury. Their previous collaborations, “High on Life” and “No Sleep,” had already become fan favorites, making “Home” another powerful chapter in their creative partnership.

Oh, I was hiding from the pain
But now I’m tired of running
Felt like the gods forgot my name

In my head
I didn’t know where I was looking for
Because it closes something beautiful
And now I’ll never gonna let you go
You go, you go

Home, take me home
Back to my roots
Yeah it’s been so long
Hey, I’ve found a way
Back to the streets where they know my name
You know I’ve been all around, all around
But you always on my mind, on my mind
Home, take me home
Back to my roots
Yeah it’s been so long, yeah

Home, take me home
Back to my roots
Yeah it’s been so long, yeah

Oh, I was falling from my high
And I came down to nothing
Feels like the gods left me behind
In my head
I didn’t know where I was looking for
Because it closes something beautiful
And now I’ll never gonna let you go
You go, you go

Home, take me home
Back to my roots
Yeah it’s been so long
Hey, I’ve found a way
Back to the streets where they know my name
You know I’ve been all around, all around
But you always on my mind, on my mind
Home, take me home
Back to my roots
Yeah it’s been so long, yeah

Been so long, been so long
Been so long, been so long
Been so long, been so long
Been so long, been so long

Home, take me home
Back to my roots
Yeah it’s been so long, yeah
