With its tense build-up and explosive big-room drop, “Torrent” quickly became a peak-time weapon in clubs and festival sets. The track reached #1 on the overall Beatport Top 100 chart, giving Martin his first Beatport number one and
significantly boosting his credibility within the global EDM scene.
Supported by major DJs throughout early 2013, “Torrent” helped establish Martin as one of the emerging names of the big-room era, setting the stage for what would follow later that year.
