Martin Garrix has been a proud International Friend of SOS Children’s Villages since 2017, championing their mission to ensure every child grows up with a loving, supportive family.
Introduced to the organization through his parents, who instilled in him the value of family, Martin has found deep personal resonance in their mission. Over the years, he’s visited several of their villages, including in Cape Town, where he played a heartfelt DJ set for children and witnessed music’s power to spark joy. He’s said that something as simple as a child’s hug after hearing music is a “perfect day,” underscoring how music and connection go hand in hand.
Beyond those visits, he’s also supported SOS through special projects, such as providing his track “AURORA” as the soundtrack to their “Stomping for Peace” global campaign, amplifying children’s voices at the UN .
