Beyond the music, Martin supports causes that matter, from children’s health to mental well-being.
Beyond his ongoing work with major charities, Martin Garrix has also supported many other causes around the world. In 2016, he headlined a charity event in Los Angeles with all proceeds going to the cancer-awareness organization Fuck Cancer, helping to fund prevention, early detection, and support programs. That same year, during his India tour, he opened with a massive show in Mumbai attended by more than 60,000 people, with proceeds supporting Magic Bus and the education of thousands of children.
More recently, he has joined forces with the Tomorrowland Foundation, an initiative that builds creative spaces for vulnerable youth. In 2023, he visited their Music & Arts School in Kolkata, India, surprising the children with a live DJ set, a moment filled with joy and encouragement for them to dream big. He is also involved in education in the Netherlands, sponsoring specific programs that give young people opportunities to develop their skills and talents.
Through each of these actions, Martin shows that using one’s voice and platform for good can inspire real change. As Garrixers, we can take that same spirit into our own lives.
